Root Huawei Honor 4C (CHM U01) | How To

Rooting your device means attaining privileged control or root access. Rooting gives similar access as administration. You’ll be able to access and modify all system of user files and apps also you can flash different versions of OS or ROMs.

Follow below steps carefully to Root Honor 4C (CHM U01). After successfully rooting there will be Superuser SU binary installed on your Huawei Honor 4C.

  • Unlocking Bootloader – Click Here
  • Install Custom Recovery – Click Here
  • For Kitkat 4.4.2 EMUI 3.0: Kingroot Super User Binary + Manager – Download Link
  • For Lollipop 5.1.1 EMUI 3.1: SuperSU Binary 2.46 + Superuser App – Download Link

Rooting Honor 4C

  1. Follow and Download all “Prerequisites” before you begin.
  2. Make sure your bootloader is unlocked if not click here for guide.
  3. Make sure you have custom recovery installed if not click here for guide.
  4. Download zip files from above Prerequisites depending on the version of android you’re using right now.
  5. Copy zip file in internal or external (SD card) storage of your device.
  6. Power off your device.
  7. Hold Volume Up and Power button. As soon as Honor logo shows release Power button.
  8. Depending on the custom recovery you have install follow below steps
    1. For CWM: use volume button to navigate and power button to select
      1. Go to install zip > choose zip
      2. Select the zip file which you’ve copied earlier and flash it.
      3. After flashing Wipe cache and dalvik.
      4. Reboot.
    2. For TWRP: It’s all touch based
      1. Touch install zip
      2. Select file which you’ve copied earlier and flash it.
      3. After flashing Wipe cache and dalvik.
      4. Reboot.
  9. Wait for the device to boot the system.
  10. That’s it. You have successfully rooted your honor 4c.

    i have honor 4c c36b190 android 4.4.2 i want update to marshmallow but it says version check fail
